Former porn star Mia Khalifa is an avid social media user and she often shares raunchy glimpses into her everyday life showing her risqué and sexy outfits. Apart from that she also aims at spreading body positivity and encouraging debates around women’s empowerment. Well, the ex-Pornhub fame has once again taken the internet by storm as she admitted that she could make more money selling “hand boob” photos online than if she joined the US Army.

Mia Khalifa, who has more than 4 million followers on Twitter, made the comments while airing her views on how ‘sex work’ is viewed. Although, a netizen seemingly didn’t agree with her views relating to socioeconomics and claimed that ‘sex work is work’. This did not go well with Mia and she blasted him for his unpleasant remarks.
Hitting back at the troll, Mia went on to educate him as she wrote, “It’s so dangerous to simply say sex work is empowering. Because I would never say that to an 18 year old who’s digital footprint hasn’t been tainted by mistakes yet.”
Mia, who currently works as a sports commentator and a social media influencer, has often been vocal about the horror she had to face in the porn industry and all that she lost because of working in it. She has previously revealed that “her family received death threats because of her occupation”, they proceeded to sever all links with her, her relationship with her husband has had to suffer due to her work and she is worried about the future of her kids. Despite the courage to speak the truth after quitting the industry in 2015, she has often been slammed by social media users for painting the industry in a “bad light.” For her latest post, she was accused of trying to berate sex workers.
Mia clarified: “I’m not against sex work. I’m against the way the sex workers are treated, especially the young ones who want their lives back years down the line.”

Incidentally, Mia was recently seen having a time of her life in Europe during an extended dour with her boyfriend Puerto Rican singer Jhay Cortez. She spent most of her holiday near Ibizia on a boat – which she appeared to be enjoying.
